The period of prayer, introspection and  atonement leading up to Rosh Hashana, which begins tonight, is called Selichot (forgiveness).Here is a clip of a Selichot chantaccording to the Moroccan tradition. The video is interesting as it criss-crosses the country showing famous rabbis’ shrines in Morocco. These are visited by Muslims as well as Jews.
